The 1st Annual Spring Break Alternative Arts and Music Festival is a block party centering on live music, vendors and fun for the whole family! Why go to the beach for Spring Break when you can have a true alternative right here in Houston!

In the tradition of the old High Volume Music (CD shop) "old school" block parties from "back in the day", the festival will be held on the grounds of The Plex Multi Media Studios in the heart of Sunnyside, Houston- Texas.

Performances will start at noon and last throughout the day.

Performances by Soul band Collective Hallucination, Reggaeton artist PLD, Hip Hop artist Rob Quest of Devin the Dude/Coughee Brothers Fame, Gospel singing sensation Loretta Gurnell Williams and special guest headline performance by DJ G.T. of 97.9 The Boxx (Beat The Trunk Up)

The 1st Annual Spring Break Alternative Arts and Music Festival is a block party centering on live music, vendors and fun for the whole family!

Performances will start at noon and last throughout the day.

This will be a day of great art and music you don't wanna miss. There will be music from some of Houston's best up and coming hip hop, r&b, blues, gospel, reggae, soul, reggaeton, latin hip hop, spoken word, jazz, acoustic and neo soul artist!

In the past when High Volume Music was located on West Bellfort and had thrown block parties, performers included;

Destiny's Child, South Park Mexican, Onyx, Song Williams, K-otix, Mikki Bleu, Ron Brown and others who have gone on to become international superstars!
